Louth are one of the first counties to confirm plans ahead of the resumption of the club season on 31 July.

Following the release of the GAA 'Return To Play' Roadmap last Friday, the Wee County have laid out plans for the remainder of the 2020 season.

Louth GAA aim to complete their club championships as normal, however, quarter-finals and semi-finals must be decided on the day with no replays.

As for the leagues, there is no relegation or promotion with an open draw to split each division into two groups but Division 3A and 3B will remain the same.

The opening two rounds of the league have been scheduled for 2/9 August in preparation for the championship which is due to begin the following week, 16 August.

All clubs are allowed to return to collective outdoor training on 20 July while club competions can resume from 31 July.

"It will always be hard to strike a balance in the current situation, but it is very important that the Louth GAA County Board takes into consideration the safety and wellbeing of all our members first and foremost," Louth GAA said in a statement.

"With the agreed format as above it will allow all clubs to have league games in a safe and timely manner and to play a full championship format.

"Dates and details of the competitions will follow shortly."
