Slaughtneil midfielder Jerome McGuigan channelled his inner Diego Maradona and scored a wonderful solo goal in his side's 3-19 to 0-3 win over Claudy in the Derry SFC yesterday.
Dual-star McGuigan, who will be back in action for Slaughtneil on Sunday when they bid for a tenth successive county SHC title against Kevin Lynch's in the final, went on a run that started in his own half of the pitch before galloping into the opposition's defence and chipping over the goalkeeper's head from 20 yards out!
