November 23, 2021

Galway fans fly their flag.

Paul Bellew and Kevin Clancy are set to go head-to-head for the position of Galway GAA chairman at convention on December 14.

Bellew, from Padraig Pearses, and Oughterard clubman Kevin Clancy are the only candidates in the running to replace the outgoing Pat Kearney.

Outgoing vice-chairman John Moylan (Beagh) is being challenged by Loughrea’s Peter Murphy and Mary Judge of Caherlistrane. Meanwhile, Seamus O’Grady and treasurer Michael Burke will be returned unopposed as secretary and treasurer respectively.
