Tipperary picked up their first win in the 2021 Allianz Hurling League thanks to a 2-19 to 0-20 over Galway this afternoon.
Having drawn their first two outings against Limerick and Cork respectively, Liam Sheedy’s side got their first and second goals of the league campaign via Jason Forde and Noel McGrath in the opening half-hour at Semple Stadium.
Those majors saw the Premier men lead by 2-7 to 0-11 at the half and the visitors would lose Jarlath Mannion to a straight red card in the closing stages following an off the ball incident with Cathal Barrett.
