The referees for the upcoming Ulster SFC semi-finals have been announced.

David Gough will be the man in the middle for this Saturday’s clash between All-Ireland champions Armagh and Tyrone in Clones. The Meath match official handled the infamous 2022 Allianz League meeting of the local rivals at the BOX-IT Athletic Grounds when Tyrone’s Peter Harte, Michael McKernan, Kieran McGeary and Padraig Hampsey were all sent off along with Armagh’s Greg McCabe following a late melee.

Veteran Cavan whistler Joe McQuillan will take charge of the second last-four tie between holders Donegal and Down on Sunday. That game is also fixed for Clones, but there is speculation that the Ulster CCC could look to play the provincial final at Croke Park if Armagh and Donegal – who are two of the best supported teams in the country – are involved.
