The long-serving trio of Eoin Carroll, Anton Sullivan and Peter Cunningham won’t be lining out for the Offaly senior footballers under new joint-managers Mickey Harte and Declan Kelly in 2025.
Carroll, who returned from Australia to feature this year, has retired from inter-county duty, while Sullivan and Cunningham won’t be involved either, according to this week’s Offaly Topic.
It's just two years since Rhode forward Sullivan was named on the first-ever Tailteann Cup Team of the Year, while Bracknagh clubman Cunningham and Cappincur midfielder Carroll have also been hugely important players to the Faithful County over the past decade.
The surprise departures come ahead of a return to collective training this Saturday.
