Greg Farrelly is back as Offaly ladies football manager, a decade after leading them to All-Ireland Junior Championship glory at Croke Park.

The Edenderry man also guided the Faithful County to National League Division 4 and Leinster Junior Championship success in 2013 as well as to an All-Ireland Minor ‘B’ Championship final appearance in 2014. Farrelly replaces the joint-management duo of Danny McGarvey and Brían Ó Ruairc who stepped down after two years in charge in August.

After enjoying a successful first season at the helm – the highlight of which was winning Division 4 of the National League – the Donegal / Dublin combination had to contend with a number of high-profile absentees this year. In spite of this, Offaly retained both their Division 3 and All-Ireland Intermediate Championship status.
