Feile 2023

 

Our Under 15 girls kick the year off next Sunday when they play in this year's Offaly Camogie Feile.  The girls will play against Shinrone, Belmont and Birr in Coolderry GAA Grounds with matches starting at 1 pm.  Best of luck to the team and their management

 

Clothes Collection

 

We will be holding a clothes collection on 20th March to help raise funds for the club for the year ahead.  So if you are clearing out your wardrobes and want to recycle any of your clothes, please pop them in a bag and drop them up to us at the GAA Grounds.  We accept clothes, pairs of socks and footwear, underwear, hats, scarves, jewellery and soft toys.  All items must be in good wearable condition.  We cannot accept duvets, pillows, ripped, damaged or soiled clothing or footwear, slippers, flip flops, pyjamas, bed sheets, pillow cases, duvet covers, curtains, table cloths or towels.  We look   forward to seeing you all popping up to the pitch to drop off those bags.  Thank you as always for your support.

 

Easter Fun Camp

 

We will be having an Easter Camp from 3-5 April which is for boys and girls from 8 to 12 years old.  If you would like to register your child for the camp you can do so at the tea rooms in the GAA Grounds between 6.15 and 7.00 pm for the next two Mondays.  The fee for the camp is €30 per child

 

Tesco Community Fund

 

For anyone doing their shopping in Tesco in Birr, please note that we are one of the three groups that are included in the Community Fund so please make sure to pick up your blue tokens and drop them in the Kinnitty Camogie Club box and support our club.  Remember folks every little helps!

 

Registration

 

Our registration for 2023 is now open which you can do by logging onto www.foireann.ie.  Please note that registration must be completed by 31 March.

 

Need New Gear? 

 

For anyone needing new hurls, helmets etc, Douglas Hardware in Birr and Roscrea have a great selection! When buying any items, make sure to mention you are a member of Kinnitty Camogie Club and they will donate money to the club.
