Seriously he's only 15!!! Crikey i thought he was doing ok and a bit short on control and touch during the game but bloody hell playing 2 years up (If true) he could be a beast if he fills out.

Good job he mentioned the cilles lads"
Hahaha.
True. But honestly thought he was motm on Saturday. He's a tiger in defense and that last run was pure class. Yes he's small. Never did Flynn any harm. Or foley for that matter.

Congrats to Ashbourne on their minor league final win over Ratoath, think they only had 1 lad on the county panel so they must have a good well rounded team. Anybody know how this age group has gone up until minor? I thought St Colmcilles would have been heavy enough favourites with their level of county involvement, anybody know the age grade a bit better?

It was a very good win for Ashbourne and deserved on the night!

Colmcilles have been the strongest team of the 2004 year lads but don't forget the league was played without the county lads and they were the most impacted.

Championship started last week and Cilles had a comprehensive win over Gaeil Colmcille and justifiably are the favourites for Delaney Cup honours! Ashbourne had a massive panel in Dunganny last night - they are a big physical team. They and Cilles are in the same group and that is probably a good thing for them.

Ratoath were good last night but had a bad period early in the second half and just didn't get back into after that. They should come out of their group most likely alongside Dunboyne.

Cilles still the favourites but Ashbourne will have their tails up after going through the league unbeaten - should be an interesting championship! To be minor club champions of the All Ireland County Champions is no small prize!!

Well done to the eight Meath minors selected on Minor team of the year, special mention to Conor Ennis, fully deserved award, has been in fantastic form all season. This is really a reward for all the panel who gave us hope for the future.

100%. 8 all stars this year. 12 in the last 4 seasons. Fantastic. Also a mention to Liam Kelly. A two time minor all star both times at full back. Very impressive
