Kilmessan N.S. 6-11 Kildalkey N.S. 1-2
The last game on the 11 finals programme saw Kilmessan claim their first Cumann na mBunscol Division 1 Hurling title with this comprehensive win over Kildalkey at Lomans Park. The school claimed the Division 2 title in 2023 and lost out narrowly to Ratoath SNS in last years Division 1 final.
Goals from James Keane, Tommy Clynch and Eoin Horan helped the winners to a healthy 3-7 to 1-1 half time lead. There was no let up from the boys in White and Blue in the second half. Michael Gallagher added a quick 1-2 and David Keenan and Charlie Comiskey finished the game in style with goals number five and six as Kilmessan ran out worthy winners.
