Le dara leath láidir, déirigh le Bhulf Tón an bua a fháil ar an bpáirc 3G i Dunganny. Bhíodar cúilín chun deiridh ag leatham ach thainig feabhas mór ar imirt na dtosaithe sa dara leath. Chabhraigh trí “two pointers”go mór leo.

This delayed first round game was played on the Astro turf pitch in Dunganny on a night where weather conditions were good with just a slight breeze.

Bhulf Tón, having beaten Trim in their first game faced Intermediate champions Meath Hill who were making their Feis Cup debut. The Intermediate champions played in a very controlled manner, were well organised in defence and were good value for their 0 05 to 0 04 half time lead. Tones brightest moment saw Sean Penny surge through the Meath Hill defense only to see his powerful shot hit the crossbar. The second half saw Tones dominate the kickout and this provided the platform for the Oristown men to create the scoring opportunities which gradually saw them build a commanding lead, helped by three “two pointers” courtesy of Dan O Neill, Kyle Moran and Caolan Ward. Meath Hill had a number of two point opportunities from long range frees but narrow misses hampered their cause.

Next up for Tones is their final group game in Pairc Mhic Eoin vs Ballinabrackey
