Last years Brendan Davis Cup winners Kilmessan made a winning start to the 2025 competion with this seven point victory over Blackhall Gaels under lights at Batterstown.
A five star display from Jack Cottrell proved the difference between the sides in their first outing of the year. Their Kilmessan full forward finished with an impressive 1-13. The winners led 0-10 to 1-3 at the break.
