Senior hurling squad announced

New manager Johnny Greville has named a 36 man squad for the upcoming National Hurling League Division 2 campaign.

Kiltale's Jack Regan who was joint captain with the Christy Ring Cup winning squad in 2023 returns to the fold. 

Seasoned campaigners Charlie Ennis, Shane Whitty and Padraig O’Hanrahan are missing from the squad while Greville will be without the services of stalwart Seanie Geraghty (injured). Longwood's Mickey Burke, who made his 200th appearance in a Green and Gold jersey last January, is also included in the panel.

Darren O’Higgins, Cian Field, Tiernan Anderson and Oisín Bright are squad debutants.

Meath open their league account this Saturday against Donegal at 2pm in Lomans Park Trim.
