After a disappointing 2024 Meath manager Joe Cowley and his charges will get their 2025 Leinster Minor Football Championship campaign up and running on Saturday March 29th.
The young Royals welcome Westmeath. These two sides met in the 3rd round last year and Meath recorded a 2-11 to 1-7 victory, their only win in the group stages, to advance to the preliminary quarter-final before losing out to Wexford at Ashbourne. Rounds two and three sees Meath travel to Kildare and Longford. A dominant Kildare outclass the Royals in the opening round of last year. A very strong Lily White Under 16 squad defeated Cavan in last years Gerry Reilly Cup final at Milbrook.
