Kilmessan recorded an impressive win over Jubilee Cup favourites and unbeaten Trim in this SHC Group A round 4 encounter played in perfect conditions at Pairc Tailteann.
Three goals from Eoin Harkin and one from Seanie Doyle set the Brendan Davis Cup winners up for a shock four point victory. The teams were level at the break 3-6 to 1-12.
With one round to go the winners share top spot in Group A with Trim and Kildalkey. Trim take on Dunboyne in round 5 while Kilmessan return to Pairc Tailteann for a clash with Dunderry.
