Clann na nGael defeated Dunboyne in round 2 of the SHC

Round 2 of the Senior and Intermediate Hurling Championship continues over the weekend. The Junior and Junior B Hurling Championship got up and running last night.

Just the two games today. Clann na nGael got their first win of the senior campaign with five points to spare over Dunboyne at Kiltale. St. peters lost their opening round to Dunderry

Killyon staged a second half recovery to make it back to back wins at Boardsmill. Kiltale are too strong for Blackhall Gaels.

In the Intermediate two in a row for O’Mahonys, holders Kildalkey beaten, Rathmolyon on top in high scoring encounter.

After losing their opening round to Trim Jubilee Cup holders Kildalkey got back on track at Lomans Park. Three goals from Brian O’Halloran and a masterclass from Nicky Potterton paved the way for a five point win for the county champions. The sides were level at the break at 1-3 each.

After a draw with Kiltale in the opening round last years beaten finalists Ratoath had too much for Na Fianna in Batterstown.

Thursday

Last night in the senior Trim who defeated holders Kildalkey in the opening round recorded a big win over neighbours Dunderry, who had beaten Dunboyne in round 1, lat Kilmessan. The Town side led at the break 1-14 to 0-4 and went on to record a 32 point win, Mikey Cole (2), Conor Quigley and Kyle Ennis with the goals.
