Simonstown 0-07 Moynalty 1-15
Moynalty travelled to Simonstown on Sunday morning for their seventh game in the Tommy Dowd Oil Division 5 League, and recorded their sixth win on the bounce.
It was a make shift line up, with only 14 players a side. The away side started brightly, with Paul Lynch showing his attacking instinct, picking up on a loose ball and finding the back of the net to set Moynalty on their way from the offset. This was coupled with some fine forward play from Paddy Byrne and Ollie Sheridan to keep the scoreboard ticking over leaving the half time Simonstown 0-05 Moynalty 1-07
The second half was a lower scoring affair, with Moynalty holding onto possession well and taking their points well to ensure the 2 points for the win. The home side only registered two points in the second half, a testiment to the hard work put in by Moynaltys midfield and defence. Full Time Simonstown 0-07 Moynalty 1-15
