St Ultans played their final group match in the Tailteann Cup on Tuesday evening and came away with the points after a strong team display.

Within forty five seconds of referee Ian Dowdall throwing in the ball Ultans raised a green flag thanks to a strong run and finish from wing back Tommy Buchanan, he would repeat the act after twenty minutes. The Ultans forwards were accurate from the boot also with points from Adam Rogers, Ruairi Buchanan, Luke Cahill, Martin Dolan and Conor Finnegan on his first competitive start. Resolute defending ensured a comfortable half time score of 2-08 to 0-04.
