The Cork and Galway ladies went head-to-head in a skills challenge yesterday to raise funds for LauraLynn Children’s Hospice.

Players from both sides competed against each other in pairs with the fastest over a minute earning a point for their team.

There were five different skills challenges - right kick pass, left kick pass, press ups, crossbar challenge and keepy-uppies.

Tim Rabbitt's Galway held a slender lead at the break, but whatever Ephie Fitzgerald said to his players at half-time worked wonders as Cork came storming back to win by 0-16 to 0-11!

Together they have raised €4,405 for LauraLynn Children’s Hospice - https://www.gofundme.com/f/lauralynn-ladies-football-challenge
