Seamus Plunkett's men advance to the first round proper of the Qualifiers, where they will face either Cork, Clare or Waterford! They will also be in the Liam MacCarthy Cup in 2022! Antrim's encouraging year ends in disappointment as they are relegated to the Joe McDonagh Cup.

Laois V Antrim is just 20 minutes away. Given the prize at stake, it's fair to suggest that this is the biggest championship match of the year so far. The winners will move into the first round proper of this year's SHC but the losers will not be involved in the Liam MacCarthy Cup in 2022.

Antrim and Laois meet at Parnell Park in the preliminary round of the hurling Qualifiers (2:30). The winners will progress to the first round proper, while the losers will be relegated to the Joe McDonagh Cup.

Ulster SFC:

Cavan romped to provincial glory last winter but they face a tricky assignment today when they open their defence of the Anglo-Celt Cup against Tyrone in Omagh (4:30).

Limerick entertain Cork in the first semi-final at 3pm while holders Tipperary have home advantage against Kerry (7pm).

The Munster SFC final line-up will be decided today, while we also have action in the Ulster SFC and the first of this year's All-Ireland senior hurling Qualifiers.
