Can't get over that decision to award Tipperary a penalty. Aidan McCarthy slid in to Jake Morris close to the sideline and caught him. Tipp were awarded a penalty by James Owens and the Clare man has been sin-binned. That was not a foul to deny a clear goalscoring opportunity in a million years! What a sickener for the Banner!

What a finish to the first half from Clare! It started with magnificent last-ditch defending from Paul Flanagan and Rory Hayes and they worked the ball upfield brilliantly to Kelly who sticks it in the net - 2-11 to 1-13!

Looks like both teams will start as selected. There were concerns over Shane Walsh who has a slight hamstring problem but the Galway captain is set to start.

The rain is giving way to sunshine but the surface is going to be slippery after that downpour and that should add to the entertainment.

With the rain hammering down in Dr Hyde Park, the stage is set for what should be an absorbing clash between Roscommon and Galway. Throw-in is just over 15 minutes away.

The first game throws in at 1:15 and the last start is scheduled for 4:30. With all matches set to be played to a finish, it's going to be a busy, busy day.
