Wonderful precision from Byrnes in glorious sunshine as he lofts over a '65' from close to the right sideline. The hosts' wides tally goes out to 16 after Byrnes and Gillane miss the target. Cork make a mess of the restart and gift Gillane a pointed free. At the other end, Richie English deflects Kingston's goalbound effort onto the crossbar and out to safety. O'Donovan then lands Limerick's fifth unanswered point.

The Rebels are unbeaten from three league outings thus far, while Limerick have yet to win. As this is a dress rehearsal for the championship meeting of the teams in four weeks, there will be no quarter given or asked tonight.
