Daly ruled out with knee injury

John Daly of Galway is out on front of Sligo's Paul Kilcoyne
Galway defender John Daly has been ruled out for up to six months with a knee ligament injury.
It means that the Mountbellew-Moylough youngster will miss the entire upcoming Galway SFC. His participaton in Galway's 2020 championship campaign which is due to begin on 7/8 November is in serious doubt.
Daly had enjoyed an impressive start to the season under new manager Padraic Joyce having started at centre back in four out of the Tribesmen's five Alianz League matches before the Covid-19 pandemic called a halt to GAA activity.
