Daniel Moynihan is the new Galway senior ladies football manager.

The Ballinasloe man was ratified on Monday night after leading the county to an All-Ireland minor final victory over Kildare earlier this year. He replaces Maghnus Breathnach and Fiona Wynne who had served as joint managers for the past two years.

Moynihan has been succeeded as minor manager by Kilconly’s Nigel Walsh.
