Down v Meath - Down to win by 4 or 5
Laois v Kildare - Kildare to give themselves a fighting chance going into the last round of games
Cavan v Westmeath - Tight, Cavan missing a couple of key players, hard to call. Westmeath if you put a gun to my head
Roscommon v Galway - another tight call. A long time since we beat Galway when it mattered. This really could be a draw.

i say the stand out game is of course my county roscommon v galway, i say it be a very close tight game i see roscommon winning by 4 points at half time but in the end it will be a draw :) :) after galway starting so well after the league down in 6th, but be a draw, roscommon have improved alot since john evans they have come on leaps and bound, but it be a draw

down v meath,Down will win against meath :) it be a tough physical game like the clash above but meath will want to win this after last week defeat against roscommon but i see down winning this by 4 points, down are certain of there promotion i say :)

cavan v westmeath, cavan have had their on and off days in the playing field and havent been really performing well in division 2 which i thought they be upto roscommon necks but not really that much. since westmeath got gary connaughton back in the post still haven't shown much potential but i say cavan will win this by 4 points, but i say westmeath will want to get back over cavan after they lost against them in the qualifiers,

laois v kildare, it is a do or die game for kildare, if kildare don't win this they are going down to division 3 for next year, but laois are really shown why they are really always hanging in at division 2 but they have improved and always and kind of show this in the championship or qualifiers. but i see laois winning this game by 6 points

OK, here goes:
Ros Vs Galway: I'm just about going for Galway. Had Down beaten all ends up and made an arse of it. Terrible 2nd half against Laois last day out so they need to respond.
Kildare Vs Laois: If Kildare decide to have a go, this will be a cracker. Laois on home soil, all their fans would love to see them putting the last nail in the Kildare coffin to send them to Div 3. I believe Kildare have it in them to win this one. Trouble is, I don't know if their players believe it. Still I'll go for Kildare in the last chance saloon.
WestMeath Vs Cavan: Very difficult to call this one, pretty evenly matched. Cavan missing some players and to be quite honest, I just don't like the way they are playing at the moment. Westmeath by 4-5.
Lastly Meath Vs Down: Down gunning for promotion, Meath not playing well and so far have not shown signs of being good enough. Head says Down by 5+, heart says Meath by 2.
If the results go the way I think they will, we're in for a very interesting last series of games.

Easy money to be made this weekend

Ros v Gal - Roscommon at home to shade a tight encounter

Kildare v Laois - Tempestuous affair with Laois to best a struggling Kildare

Westmeath v Cavan - Under pressure Cavan to step it up for the win

Down v Meath - Down to win easily

Down are all out attacking team and with promotion in sight they might take the eye off the ball on Saturday night. Meath will frustrate Down with their defensive blanket defence tactics and will look to catch their opponents on the break. A shock away win is possibility.

Down v Meath: Down. Form team. Meath in trouble.
Cavan v Westmeath: Cavan. Home form is dreadful, but Mackey is back so should give us a lift. Confidence high after beating Galway.
Laois v Kildare: Laois I hope. I'm enjoying Kildare's fall from grace.
Galway v Roscommon: Rossies, no contest.

Htaem totally agree, and further more the closest he ever got to us was watching the jets fly over strokestown.

Travelling to portlaoise tomorrow eve with everything crossed, Hoping that the impending threat of Div 3 is enough to pull the squad together and focus on putting in our best performance of the year to date (not a big ask) but we will need to be good to beat Laois who have a good experienced players with a strong midfield pairing. Tommy Moolick back is a plus, so is the form of Paul Cribbin, Niall Kelly has to play, we are vulnerable at the back but Donnellan in goals has been excellent lately. Going against all logic but Kildare to pull out a victory and keep us alive for another week. My predictions for the other games, Galway to scrape past Roscommon, Meath to get a draw in Down, Westmeath to beat Cavan.

Down and Meath to draw

Crinigan I see and read plenty of GAA football over here and yes to both. What's to hate about Meath I think some of you Meath supporters hear to hear/listen where this current Meath team are.

Weatherwise its a night for the underdogs to win, so Kildare,Meath,Westmeath could all pull off shock win tonight.

On tonights results 2 points from ros in next 2 games almost certainly gaurantees promotion unless cavan beat meath by a big score or ros lose 1 of the 2 games by a big score as meath would lose out on head to head if they both finish on 9 points

Excellent win considering the conditions, hard luck to Down, never really seemed to get going, sets up an interesting final week next week although I just think we've left ourselves a tad too much to do for promotion.
