Replying To greenfan:  "Its not a completely open draw. Teams who met in provincial finals can't be paired together. I think its just galway that can't play roscommon."
Ye but rossies lost so not a possibility anyway.

Get it, open draw this round, next round teams can't meet if they've met in provincial final or first round qualifiers. Getting used to it now and it a fair system.

Galway and Roscommon are in different draws on Tuesday.

Isn't that a keepers job? What did you want him to do?

Replying To foreveryoung:  "Hope the draw on Tuesday morning throws up:

Monaghan v Cavan in Clones
Meath v Kildare in Navan
Roscommon v Derry in The Hyde
Dublin v Kerry in Croker

That'd be my ideal draw."
Meath's home matches all in Croker.

There is no Navan at the moment. Meath's game will be in Croke Park. Though if Meath are drawn as the home team against Dublin I'm not sure if they'll be keen on playing them there.

Meath v Kildare in Croker would be a fine curtain raiser to Dublin v Kerry.

Bring it on!

Not that fair.
The 2 teams teams we bet are guaranteed a place in Round 3 while we could be eliminated in round 2.

Nothing to fear in the current Dublin team, why would you not want to beat them there?

Bad finishing and decision making cost Monaghan, better teams won't miss them, no matter what the keeper does or doesn't do.

Typical English answer. The point is Monaghan were the better team.

I'd have liked to see Armagh and Westmeath, provincial champions who won in Round 1, kept apart in Round 2A as a reward for winning their provincial championships. No such protection for Kerry and Roscommon though.

You'd get hard to see dublin as main on menu if Meath v Kildare was there. Kerry would destroy dublin badly I think
