Still a relatively young team. Tom Sullivan, Jack Barry, Mark O'Connor Stefan Okunbor, David Shaw, Shane O'Carroll and Diarmuid O'Connor pushing for starting slots . Can Kerry do back to back? KerryAllIrelandChampions2025 (Kerry) - Posts: 12 - 27/07/2025 21:59:09 2628435 Link 0 |
The 2nd best Kerry team of all time managed 1 back to back! And even then they had to split it between 2 different managers. Onion_Sack (Dublin) - Posts: 344 - 27/07/2025 22:24:29 2628444 Link 0 |
Of everyone Kerry came up against this year, Tyrone impressed me the most. legendzxix (Kerry) - Posts: 9054 - 27/07/2025 23:04:12 2628458 Link 0 |

Rubbish? They were in 3 of the last 4 finals..beaten by the winners last year. They have won 2 of the last 4.winning yesterdays by 10 points in the most competitive championship in 20 years. They have a bunch of players who came from winning 5 minor allirelands in a row. They are certainly not rubbish. Travisnash45 (Meath) - Posts: 1 - 28/07/2025 06:05:48 2628484 Link 1 |
I'd say every Kerryman alive must be over the moon just feeling your bitterness.

Probably Kerry's sweetest victory beating three best teams in Ulster comprehensively to win. shaggykev (Donegal) - Posts: 421 - 28/07/2025 10:10:05 2628516 Link 0 |
Kerrymen live off salty Dub tears, 39 to 31.

Next year will come around in its own good time. 7 teams emerged as strong contenders after the league. Meath and Monaghan's progression and Derry regrouping could see at least 10 strong contenders. legendzxix (Kerry) - Posts: 9054 - 28/07/2025 11:01:41 2628545 Link 0 |
HUge congrats to Kerry. avonali (Dublin) - Posts: 2025 - 28/07/2025 11:03:28 2628547 Link 0 |
Yesterday was a poor match. In my opinion way too one sided. Unless you are from Kerry. galwayford (Galway) - Posts: 2651 - 28/07/2025 11:18:16 2628556 Link 0 |
Yes it's been an excellent championship but I'd say the semis and finals lacked any real drama at all. Maybe if Donegal had scored the next score when four down, it would have made a game of it but we couldn't get near Kerry at all. shaggykev (Donegal) - Posts: 421 - 28/07/2025 11:31:25 2628564 Link 0 |
Given your free ride in Munster. You have a chance. I am sure Galway and Mayo (or Roscommon) would love a "bye" to the All Ireland quarter finals/semi finals same as you lot have in effect.

"You lot"??? Jesus Christ there are some awful gowls in this forum. Didn't you know that the provincial championship is not the only criterion for qualifying for the All_Ireland group stage???? avonali (Dublin) - Posts: 2025 - 28/07/2025 12:07:52 2628587 Link 1 |
100% Kerry can go back to back and maybe more. Cbar (Mayo) - Posts: 376 - 28/07/2025 12:39:29 2628604 Link 0 |

Kerry are a good team and have the best player in the country but the Dubs will be back in the picture again next year and maybe with a comeback man ourselves.Enjoy 2025. brayballer (Wicklow) - Posts: 258 - 28/07/2025 13:26:11 2628636 Link 0 |
The 'Free Ride' notion is a strange one. It is seen as beneficial to Kerry in football, yet hindering to Kilkenny in hurling - two counties with a similar number of all Ireland titles. slayer (Limerick) - Posts: 6523 - 28/07/2025 13:35:45 2628640 Link 0 |
