Great win for the lads! Sounded on the radio like they all played well. It was particularly heartening to hear newer lads like Higgins and Kehoe played well! Sounded like Doyle was solid too, seen quite a bit of him the last few years playing for Ballyhogue and he's definitely skilful enough!
Hopefully there's a good crowd of us in the Park next weekend to cheer them on, they surely deserve it!

Hopefully it will only be our best win until next weekend! Laois have had our number the last few years, it will be a very tough game Saturday.

Its a great result. Fermanagh at home is not easy, they didn't lose a single league game all last year and were well on the mix for promotion.

Its a great start, hopefully push on now.

Massive win, congrats to all involved. Fermanagh is a team Wexford have struggled with and to come away from Enniskillen with the points is no mean feat. Onwards and upwards.

Next weekend we face another team we have struggled with unfortunately!

Its baby steps but steps in the right direction for the team given the age profile.

We have a terrible record against Laois in recent years. Hopefully that will change Saturday.

Great win to start the league!

Laois will be a tough game. Luckily, past records matter for nothing. This match will be two good division 3 teams meeting in Wexford Park, the best team on the day will win.

laois will be a tough game, they gave us a right trimming in the cship but we were a tired team so that can be ignored so it will be close,

Yeah we have failed to show up at times against better teams and suffered badly as a result. It is a big test for the team, can they back up the win in Fermanagh.

Fantastic win by our footballers today.
They ran Laois ragged throughout and scoring 23 points and conceding only 9 points was simply superb.
Before the league began I said on this forum that I thought we would struggle to win any games and our stay in divison 3 would be a short one.
How wrong I was and thrilled to be wrong.
To go up north and beat Fermanagh was great and to trounce Laois by 14 points today was something else.
It was a team effort. Everyone played well.
Next up Limerick. Laois beat them by 1 point last week, so we shouldn't fear them.
Let's hope the lads can keep up the winning streak in the weeks to come and maybe be in the shakeup for promotion to division 2.
Long way to go of course but we seem to be heading in the right direction.

Completely outclassed a poor Laois team. I didn't recognise many lads on there team bar O Carroll and Byrne and they looked clueless. They must have lost alot of players. Wexford kicked some fantastic scores Sean Nolan in particular but was a very good team performance. Will probably keep us in division 3 at least now with a shot at promotion. We look more set defensively now which is a must at that level.

Great evening in the Park, nice weather, good Football, pitch held up well too fair play to the groundspeople!!
Really good to beat Laois again at last, after a couple of bad beatings, and a good start to the div3 campaign. The younger lads played well again, the team played with great intensity and movement.

That was some win you had this evening by that margin. Well done Wexford. I honestly think if ye can go up from div 3 into div 2 you'll give great belief to Carlow so I'll be rooting for ye this year.

Yes Viking, a really good evening in the Park, and great to finally put one over on Laois. The last 2 games
( Fermanagh & Laois) show what these lads are capable of. No outstanding individuals, just a well organised crew, working hard for each other.
It's great to see lads comfortable on the ball and not panicking, attacking at pace when possible or slowing it down and being patient when necessary.

Super win by the footballers no matter how strong or weak the opposition are 23 points is an excellent return on the scoreboard, nice to have 2 wins under the belt and should give them plenty of confidence for games coming up

Brilliant performance all round. When I saw the first 2 fixtures away to Fermanagh who didnt lose at home in the league all last season and were in the mix for promotion and home to Laois who we have struggled with over the last few years i did worry a bit. Especially with a few players stepping away and other important players missing

But to have 2 wins, 4 point win away from home and a win llike that last night is a brilliant start. Hegarty and the team deserve huge credit, played really good football, I said last year the new rules would suit us as a team. The league is the biggest competition for this team and so far so good.

im kind of speechless after that! but we must try not get carried away, while it was a near perfect display its just another step in our quest to stay up, one more win from 5 games will do now, while it was hard to pick a man of the match last night , all played well, special mention to higgins, he was fantastic

Martin O'Connor out for another while. Pettit for longer. Not sure about Eoghan Nolan. Or Tubritt.
