Replying To Viking66:  "When are they on?"
The Divison 3 final is in the Rock (Mary's Maudlinstowns pitch) and the Division 2 final is in Grantstown. Just seems really poor to me. Maybe people don't agree but surely a requirement for a final would be a stand.

Grantstown has a few seats, possibly a hundred? Mary's is one of the nicest grounds in the county insofar as you have nice views and wouldn't believe you were in a town at all. If the weather's good there's a great view of any game there to be had from the Rocks.
But I agree neither would be ideal venues for finals insofar as seating is very limited. I think the reason those grounds have been selected is geographic, but they could've had the div 2 final in Taghmon which wouldn't have been too far out of the way, or Kennedy Park.
The div3 final could've been put on in Hollymount, but I'm not sure the stand is finished there yet?

That's it. Nice venues but at least give the finals a bit of prestige, the stand is open in Hollymount I believe and yes wasn't sure why Taghmon wasn't picked.

Suppose just disappointed as surely they should at least try and give some promotion to the finals when you get a chance, to try and improve teams wanting to make these finals.

Fermanagh will undoubtedly be hard to break down. They are ultra defensive and dogged.
The new rules will of course mean they can't get everyone behind the ball so goal scoring and 2 pointers will be on offer.
I expect a tight close encounter and hopefully our lads won't shoot themselves in the foot again like we have over the last few years.
I really think we have the players in Martin O'connor, Pairic Hughes, Sean Nolan,Liam Coleman and Gllen Malone if fit.
Let's get the Laois and Limerick games out of our systems and the Carlow game when we collapsed in the final minutes.
Big game and a big prize if we can get over the line.
Verdict -- Wexford to win by 2 points.

Great to see Glen back on the bench, feeling a bit more hopeful of a good outcome. Looking forward to a big day of good football.

Winnable game on Sunday but don't get Eoghan Nolan named at 6 again. He's an attacker and one of our better ones and should be left there. Good to see Sean Nolan back but we have to stop goals if we've any chance. Good luck lads.

Also good to see Gavin fit enough for the bench. Hopefully Robbie Brooks has sharpened up to nearer his former self, and Jack Higgins plays to his potential. Should be a great game!

Even when playing in the forwards he has been used as a conductor the problem from doing that from 6 is defending. Will he start there or will some of the lads on the bench come in and he moves forward. I agree though would rather see him upfront as he also brings that 2pt threat. Hoping for a big game from Coleman who hasn't reached the heights he can yet since coming back from injury.

Midfield has been suspect so far, Hughes has contributed on the scoreboard but against the better teams we've struggled to win primary possession.

Tbh our midfield looked better with Byrne alongside Hughes

I wouldn't be surprised if Malone & G Sheehan both start, push Martin out to centre back - we've been very susceptible to teams running through the middle.
I'd start without Brooks & Higgins, Jack has been very effective coming off the bench. As someone already said, Tom is effective around the middle and it would free up Eoghan Nolan & P Hughes to play their attacking game.
A draw would guarantee second place and a home play-off because I can't see Longford causing carlow any problems.
