Glynn Barntown V Castletown
Barntown on a high following the terrific comeback against the champions. This is as big a fight as that game and one I feel they can win again but also again completely depends on which barntown team shows up.
Castletown as always are one of the most consistent teams and hardest to break down so will rightfully be favourites considering the scoring power they also have but I just have a feeling that Barntown are finally ready to go one step further than 2016 and take the title, and in the process will likely have to beat Gusserane in a repeat of that final.
Barntown by 2

Gusserane V Crossabeg
Crossabeg are in bonus territory here and could easily have been in relegation just as easy which shows how tight that group was. It's hard to see anything other than an easy Gusserane win here, they have put up big scores every game and seem to be very consistent against the weaker teams now.
Gusserane by 8.

Intermediate
Fethard and Martins to win

If Glynn throw off the shackles like they did after half time against Shels they will beat Castletown.

Return to type and Castketown will win comfortably I think.

Funnily enough I think Crossabeg could easily pull off a win against gusserane, I think Gusserane will win but wojkd not be a shock to me to see Crossabeg pull off the win.

Glynn v Castletown: A great comeback the last day v Shels but the fact they were 12 down at HT was worrying for GB. They will get momentum from the comeback but Castletown are playing very well and I see them winning by 5 points.

Crossabeg v Gusserane: Gusserane always maximising there potential and will face a big battle v a physical crossabeg team. Think they've more scoring power Gusserane by 4

I don't think they ever stream from New Ross any more?

Something about camera position or wifi or some other technical reason why it can't be done as well as from other venues.

That's true too. They were giving out about the number of people buying Senior football games even, the games cost quite alot to stream, and not enough people buy the football ones.

Crossabeg will be kicking themselves!!

Really left that game behind them, fair play to Gusserane, that little bit of experience and know how got them over the line.

Thought that Crossabeg were going to win it with 10 or 15 to go in normal time. Gusserane looked gassed. But fair play to them they dug deep and deserved to win in extra time. The 1 point margin flattered Crossabeg bit, as they were resorting to hail mary shots that went wide while Gusserane worked their scores better, even hitting the post with a goal attempt. As you say, they had a bit more football nous about them.

Better team lost yesterday in the park, 2 goals in 30 seconds killed it. Barntown controlled the game throughout and will be kicking themselves once again. Should be after being in so many finals in recent years but luck just going against them.

Not sure they were the better team if they went from 1-9 to 1-7 up to 4-9 to 1-9 down in the blink of an eye against a team that didn't even play as well as they can. Castletown could have easily got a quick goal immediately after their first as well only for better execution, which was an issue for 3/4s of the game.

Felt like Glynn maxed out, whereas Castletown had the extra gear or two if needed. Cracking second half though.

They looked the better team in the 2nd half though?

without doubt but the wind as it was in 1st surely would have been worth 2/3 pts?

That's the luck of the toss.

St martins v Fethard , 5 point win for martins, unbeaten in championship should be relatively straightforward but you never know !
