Crossabeg v Gorey
Going or Crossabeg on this one, I think they have better big game players
Gusserane v Kilanerin
Going on group form you would have to say Gusserane. Although Kilanerin did win their last game but I am not convinced they are back to where they were last year and if not then this one will got to Gusserane
Castletown v Sarsfields
Easy win here for Castletown. Sarsfields are in bonus territory here and I have a feeling Hurling will be taking the priority for some players.
Shels v GB
Cannot see anything but an end to GB involvement in the championship. They were embarrassed with last weakens result - will they come out fighting this Friday

Annes v Bunclody
This will be a low scoring ugly game but think the Annes are more experienced at grinding out a result.

Id really like to see Gusserane win, and not just because they are from the District, in fact Id really really like them to win it out!!!!, and while I always usually like to see the Annes do well I'll be hoping Lloyd Colfer can pull one out of the bag with Bunclody.
Shels and Castletown should win, still the top 2 and the teams to beat, and Crossabeg likely will too.

Crossabeg v Gorey
Two very even teams, will say Crossabeg by 1 after ET.

Gusserane v Kilanerin
Comfortable win for Gusserane, Kilanerin are not half the team they were last year. Gusserane by 7

Castletown v Sarsfields
An equally comfortable win for Castletown, consistently a top 2 team for last number of years and Sars happy to be in quarters with nothing to lose. Castletown by 6

Shels v Glynn Barntown
The most interesting of the quarter finals as it depends which Barntown team show up.
If they turn up and perform like we know they can then barntown can give shels a real scare and maybe even catch them on the hop.
If the barntown that turned up last week turn up this week then Shels will win by 12.
I'll go Shels by 2 this time around

Annes v Bunclody
Always difficult to predict this game, form often goes out the window.
Probably safest to predict a very low scoring game and whoever gets that bit of luck will win by 1 or 2. I will go for Bunclody by 2.

Anyone in the know be able to answer the question of what odds would you get on Shelmaliers to do a senior double football and hurling?

12 up at HT they must have thought they were in the semi final already. Well done to GB for sticking at it. All to play for now.

LOL, never mind!

But what a game of football and what a comeback by Glynn Barntown.

When they took the shackles off with nothing to lose and just went at Shels with a really impressive running game and off the shoulder link up it was top class. Fair play to Glynn, winning like that and in that style was great to see.

I missed a trick, would have gotten some odds at half time last night for a Glynn Barntown win! But I'll say it again, what a display from Glynn

All the Sunday games are postponed now I see, I wonder will putting those games back to Monday throw a spanner in the works for a few teams.

Big wins in the park today for St Martins and Castletown against the Wexford town teams. Martins will take stopping and good to see Daithi Waters and Barry O Connor playing well for them. They will take stopping in the intermediate even with little training.

In the second game Castletown won handy. Sarsfields played a Possesion type game around the half way line but had no plan how to score after that. Castletown got handy scores on the break with Jack Higgins and Liam Coleman leading the charge. They will probably be favourites now I would imagine. St Anne's now relegated which was a surprise well done to Bunclody.

Watched the stream. Shels have only themselves to blame, looked like a team that had decided all they needed to do was coast the second half and save themselves for the hurling. You should never concede two goals in Football in the last 4mis - I know there are black cards and everything now but its 4mins their heads just were not thinking they could lose. I have to say that the standard of the refereeing was also brutal, no different to the hurling last weekend. Massive issue in the county now across both codes from what I can see. I say that as someone who would defend refs because it is is a tough job but until we stop making excuses for bad refs at the top level there will be no incentive for any of them to improve.

Good win for Gusserane tonight and a bit of a surprise in intermediate with Fintans beating Cushinstown.

Some good semi final ties to look forward to in both grades

Gusserane deserving winners tonight against Kilanerin. Kilanerin kicked alot of poor wides came back to haunt them in the end. Gusserane broke up the field and got a goal after great pressure tackling and Mini Ryan finished to give them a cushion. Rossiter set up the first goal with a direct run through the middle of the defence. Older statesmen were very good for Gusserane.

Saw Fintans a few times this year. Very well organised, pace up front, and Shane Pettit playing the link role really well.

Was in park on sat, st marys poor , tactics of kicking long kick outs to midfield where o Connor and Maddock dominated was unbelievable, st martins with no training done were different class, Castletown way too good for sars

Got 4 out of 5, with the one that let me down being the one I thought was most nailed on! Ah well!

Terrible preparation for senior hurling, imagine dealing with a senior/intermediate club in both like most teams do….
