Surprised to tell the truth and that is not to take from Armagh. I know they have the ammunition but never seem to fire from all barrels, even today. No, I expected much more from Kerry. It seemed to me that they were just strolling through the gears up until the Derry game, and the way Derry set up allowed me to make an allowance for Kerry's poorness that day. That extra kick, the next gear that I expected them to have doesn't seem to be there.

It causes me to wonder: Is this a Jack O'Connor thing? He has produced some fine teams over the years but they all seem to have left questions hanging over them. He has never done back-to-back AIs. Maybe it is the players, but this group is as talented as ever came out of the Kingdom. There's just that je ne sais pas quoi missing. It is hard to put my finger on it. Hard questions will be asked in Kerry.

Best of luck to Armagh in the final. I'd like to see them do it, but they'll need to have more of a killer instinct and not to leave the game hanging like they did today in regulation time.

Mad ferious intensity from both teams. Unlucky to the Kerry folks, top team and i'm glad we hung in there during those goal chances.

The huge Armagh support helped get us over the line.

Fantastic turn out by the Armagh support as usual. Loud at times but they really are a superb rock within the GAA. Other counties could look at Armagh and learn what it means to follow your county. How many Kerry folk were at Croker? Very few obviously and shamefully.

Nah joking aside he's still so young and is an outrageous talent. When you think he's still a good 6/7 years from his peak it's scary but he undoubtedly needs to improve in the meaningful games. All well and good doing it in Munster or in games that aren't tightin the run in but when in a pressure cooker environment ie yesterday and last years all Ireland final he's not delivered and not done so emphatically.

This kerry team are miles off the 07-11 team. I know 2 all irelands in 14 years alot of other teams would kill for, but kerry are kerry and that return is poor.

Armagh we're brilliant particularly second half and extra time. Completely deserved their victory. Well done to them

Armagh v Kerry went to form, Kerry have been poor since last years semi. Armagh have taken ulster form to all ireland series and will fancy their chances against either Galway or Donegal. A well deserved win.

What a win. Well done Armagh. Kerry 14 wides. They have a few exceptional players but many average players. It really opens it up further now. Without sounding disrespectful, Galway and Donegal will be thinking big time they can win it out now.

Kerry played with such an intensity and aggression from the start that they couldn't maintain and ultimately the better team prevailed.It was a carbon copy of the Clare v Kilkenny hurling S/F where Kilkenny played with ferocious intensity in the first half but couldn't keep it up.

Delighted for McGeeney and Armagh, so many setbacks seemed to be an inevitable feeling it would happen again but the defending and determination was savage.
On the Ref- great job, he didn't fall for lads trying to buy frees and really facilitated a great game.

Two points from play from the much lauded Kerry full forward line, 14 wides in total from Kerry. Clifford again backfiring in the most important game of the season, 1 from play this year and I think 2 from play in the AI final last year. He seems to struggle badly when the heat is on and either snaps at shots or makes poor shot choices. Armagh brought intensity, fight and leadership from halfway through the second half right through to the very end. Kerry brought none of these things and lost midfield completely in ET. Difficult to know where it's gone wrong for them. Possibly not battle hardened enough coming into this game. But Armagh were excellent over the last 40m or so and really rattled Kerry, great physicality, fitness and no shortage and great score taking. Sam could be heading to the Orchard.

I think football is a great place in terms of competiveness. There are a number of teams well capable of winning Sam.

I think it being Dublin v Kerry in last year's final meant that the competiveness of the Championship as a whole went under the radar. Dublin and Kerry were within that group of teams capable of winning Sam, but a lot of people mistakenly made the assumption that they were way ahead of the pack. Rather than just being the two teams that got to the final from a pack of capable teams.

Can't separate the two teams today. Looking forward to it and hopefully a cracking final.
