I agree with the free on Ryan O'Donoghue but he was away and the referee should have played advantage so maybe he did Dublin a favour.

He was away! He stood there and literally waited for your man to blow the free! You can call it what you wish ....

Mayo vs Derry
Tyrone vs Roscommon
Louth vs Cork
Galway vs Monaghan

The worst possible draw for Derry. We will have to pull one out of the bag next weekend.

Tough draw for Mayo - unbelievable... Typical. DERRY

Tyrone will be happy and Galway too tbh..

I think Louth could beat Cork.

Mayo vs Derry - After the weekend displays, you'd have to fancy Mayo for this one but who knows. Derry have regressed since winning the league but they have the talent if they can lift themselves. Still going for Mayo by 2 though.

Tyrone vs Roscommon - Tyrone by 3. As typical with Tyrone, they get stronger as the championship progresses.

Louth vs Cork - I'm going to say Louth by 1 on this one.

Galway vs Monaghan - Monaghan with the spine of the team injured (Duffy, O'Connell, Hughes, Ward) and with a very inexperienced squad, its hard to see them putting one over the Connacht champions but we love the underdog tag. Still see Galway by 5+ though.

Some odd calls alright - Tyrone's first goal was disallowed for reasons that I do not understand, and Cork's first tap-over close in free was an obvious dive.

Mayo were very good yesterday but Mickey Harte may have Derry in a better place next weekend and the win last Saturday may galvanise them.
I'd fancy Tyrone to beat Roscommon, Roscommon are very open at the back. I was impressed with Louth in the league, we struggled for long periods with them, and on that basis I think Louth will beat Cork. Galway are a puzzle, they look brilliant at times, but missing Comer and their keeper is a liability and Monaghan have a habit of giving Galway a game, there could be an upset here too. If the three Ulster teams win you could then have Donegal, Armagh, Monaghan, Tyrone and Derry in the last 8.

Mayo v Derry: On current for, Mayo will walk this. Mayo looked well fired up yesterday the kind of cohesive energy that Derry had not shown any of after the league final. Mayo to win.
Louth v Cork: Close, but I'd favour Cork for this - I think they will have too much pace for Louth. Cork to win.
Tyrone v Roscommon: down the years I've watched them, Roscommon have always been spirited and physical - hard to play against. Hesitant nod to Tyrone, but only if we show up. Tyrone to win.
Galway v Monaghan: As per Tyrone v Roscommon, you'd be inclined to favour Galway - just to much strength in depth all over the field compared to Monaghan. However, Monaghan do stubborn better than most. Galway to win.

We're very easy to play against this year unfortunately

Kerry coming in nicely under the radar. Stuck €500 to win All Ireland at 4/1 a couple weeks ago.

Mayo vs Derry - Expect Mayo to absolutely hammer Derry, such has been the collapse within the Derry camp in recent weeks, just can't see Derry getting back on track after consistently poor performances.

Tyrone vs Roscommon - Expect Tyrone to edge Roscommon, with home advantage helping.

Louth vs Cork
- Fancy Louth to cause an upset here, home advantage and a run of tough games against Kerry and Dublin will have helped them. Will be a tight affair.

Galway vs Monaghan - Galway would have to be strong favourites for this, Monaghan can be a dangerous outfit if written off though, but I think Galway will be too strong.

Agree with your predictions - but I'd be more confident of Tyrone and Galway wins.

Louth v Cork: Cork were the team I most wanted Mayo to avoid - I think they will get over the line here - shown huge improvement this year.

Mayo v Derry: On form you have to go for Mayo but some questions to be answered:
1) How much did the Dublin game take out of Mayo?
2) Can Derry find form when there is nothing other safety net? Derry - the biggest enigma in GAA right now.

That was a smart bet tbh.

They are flying at the minute.

For all the talk about the Dubs - kerry are quietly going about their business and improving as the season goes on.

No injuries afaik and they will be more than happy with their progress this season and how it is all unfolding.

Tyrone, Mayo, Cork & Galway to win.

Galway are a very good team and if they can get Comer back they will be hard to beat.

Mayo vs Derry - Mayo by 17, Derry are a mess.

Tyrone vs Roscommon - Tyrone by 5. Too much quality for the Rassies.

Louth vs Cork - Tough one to call but Cork might just edge it. Cork by 1.

Galway vs Monaghan - Galway should have too much. Monaghan will get a night out in Galway though. Galway by 7.

Well I think he was over fussy most of the game and in fairness the 45 was the umpires call but even live it was clearly wrong and the ref should have intervened.
The free to give Mayo the lead made no sense.
These were both big calls in the dying minutes, both clearly wrong, both in Mayo's favour and could easily have resulted in Mayo being handed a victory.

Does anyone know what the rules are for playing a team already played in the earlier part of the championship again in the quarter finals?

For instance, Donegal potentially could be drawn to play Tyrone, Derry or Cork once again (if they win their qualifiers). What happens then?

Hilarious blaming refs.. Ye can't take it when ye get a good test and don't hammer teams out the gate ye call us moaners about the refs but ye are just as bad worse even can't just say what a great game between two top teams no.. And the booking by your fans to Aido and Ryan O D whenever they took a free was classless.

The preamble is over, the Championship starts now.

Pity it's over in 5 weeks or so but it is what it is. Should be a cracking few week of football at least.

So you agree the free was a wrong call, what about the 45, could not be more clearly a wrong call, clear to everyone that end of the pitch, fair dues to O'Donoghoe and Reape for converting them but Dublin were out the gate except for those two wrong interventions by umpire and ref.
