What on earth are you waffling about? You're known for some inane comments, but this one takes the biscuit. Anyway, nice win for Cork footballers in Navan today, and hurlers doing ok up in Wexford too!

I reviewed the remaining rounds of Division 2, based on current form, home and away factors and then put my predicted results on the table. Armagh & Donegal up, Louth & Kildare down after Round 7. Commodore (Donegal) - Posts: 1202 - 21/03/2024 13:43:36 2532493 Link 0 |
Cavan are playing Fermanagh and according to your points tallies you have Fermanagh winning it and Cavan drawing it! Think Louth will account for Kildare and Cavan for Fermanagh so Kildare and Fermanagh going down. BreffniGael (Cavan) - Posts: 46 - 22/03/2024 10:47:15 2532622 Link 0 |
when and where is Division 2 final, should be in Clones. jacktheboy (Donegal) - Posts: 448 - 23/03/2024 09:41:05 2532772 Link 0 |
If both Armagh and Donegal request Clines, it would have a chance of being there. Unlikely tho as it will probably be part of a double header in Croke Park. Currently it's set for next weekend with exact day and venue TBC. cavanman47 (Cavan) - Posts: 5193 - 23/03/2024 10:23:10 2532776 Link 1 |
It'll be Croker, like all finals will be. As part of a double header with the Division 1 final. Finals should be at Croke Park so you get your reward, and get used to playing there Clones has no floodlights so hard to play this time of year before clocks change. So afternoons can be quite overcast and you might need lights to supplement Loughduff Lad (Cavan) - Posts: 2450 - 23/03/2024 10:59:14 2532784 Link 0 |
Fermanagh got the win over Cavan. What is going on with Cavan at the moment? I expected Cavan to put it up to Armagh and you got thumped. Cavan definitely have a talented squad, but seem very inconsistent or something, can't quite place it. Commodore (Donegal) - Posts: 1202 - 25/03/2024 13:17:54 2533540 Link 0 |
It's too simplistic to say that Cavan lost because they had nothing to play for against a Fermanagh side fighting for their lives but it does make a difference in terms of intensity. They haven't played well in the last 3 games and in fact only for some great second halves we would have been struggling to avoid relegation. No great pattern to our play and we really only have one forward in Paddy Lynch. However, we will hopefully have Faulkner, Gerry Smith and Jason McLoughlin back for Championship and McVeety, Oisin Kiernan and Conor Brady closer to full fitness. That would make a massive difference in terms of personnel but we have to up our intensity or it will be the same outcome against Monaghan as it was against Armagh last year.
