Wexford Gaa have organised a good initiative Peil Istigh . It will be ran over 6 weeks in November and December for u11 players in 3 venues in the county. This will no doubt ensure they improve their football skills over the winter as they will continue to practice their skills from training at home. Would really love to see similar initiatives for hurling . We really need to ensure young lads arent leaving down their hurls for 6 months.

Who has responsibility for organizing underage games in Wexford. Is it like Dublin where there is a separate CCC or is that because Dunlin is so big?

Most secondary school kids would be training with their school teams over the winter.

Richie has been with Joe Fortune in Westmeath for a couple of years and was with the U20s for a while too. He is involved with St Annes this year.
