Really disappointing to see that our game with Westmeath is not being televised.
Ourselves and Westmeath deserve better. We always battling for resources and coverage.

If Westmeath and Antrim were battling for the Leinster final might it be a different story?

Congratulations to Antrim ye were the better team on the day.We might have been better off losing to Wexford last week with the traffic jams it seems to have caused down there.

Don't get why the traffic jams made a difference?

Was there an advantage in the Wexford game starting later? Kilkenny knowing they did not need to win and Wexford knowing they had to win.

With Antrim's 2 fixtures and 3 away theyve done well to stay up. Just wondering do they reverse them for next year meaning 3 home games?

I don't think either of those things would've got through to the players or made a differenceto them if it did. Game was in the balance until it was finished. Kilkenny never like losing to us. For alot of them it's the biggest rivalry they have. And they are definitely the team we most like to beat. I really don't think you understand Kilkenny v Wexford posting that rubbish you just posted.

After all we heard all week about the wonders Wexford bring to the Leinster championship of course it was an advantage. With Antrim winning Wexford knew they had to win as did everyone else. Why was the goal disallowed?
We were well beaten by a better team and have no excuses and understand perfectly well that nobody is lamenting our return to Joe Mac but i think there are questions to be asked.

RTÉ radio commentary switched to the Wexford game for the final 10 minutes. One of the first things the commentator said is that it is an advantage that Wexford now know what they have to do!

The goal wasn't disallowed. Play had already stopped for a free out.

Both counties are always the poor relations.
Always fighting for everything.

Probably. But with Westmeath beating Wexford last week and so much at stake, you would have thought that all the matches could have been covered.

Looking at the Kilkenny players lying on their backs gasping for breathe at the final whistle, they definitely didn't take anything lightly today.

Pleased to get over the line yesterday. Can go either way between ourselves and Westmeath.
Second half as good as we played all year. Knew they had in them after nearly bating Wexford and letting Dublin catch us. So proud of this group of players. The longer we remain in the top grade and play against the top teams the more we learn and encourage our young players to aspire.
Lots of lessons learnt this year.
The commitment required at the top level is savage.
Onward and upwards.
Good luck to Westmeath for next year.

The Antrim girls could easily drop the head after the last 2 weeks results which have delivered a harsh dose of reality. They're being hammered by Tipp today and are currently well out of their depth at senior level. Physically and skill wise they have a long, long way to go. It'll take at least another 5 years to get up to speed of senior camogie.

Big win for Antrim today. It's been on the cards for a few years that they would claim a big scalp.

No disrespect to Antrim, but Wexford are not a 'big' scalp.

You'd turn a wedding into a funeral pal..
Of course they're a big scalp.. Great result for Antrim and well done to them.

Great win - if I'm correct that's the first time Antrim have beaten Wexford in the championship
