Iwas too impressed with Ballybay against Cross , who were awful as another poster pointed out you could have drove a bus through it , looking back maybe more than 1 bus. i suppose we all knew Kilcoo would be a tougher nut to crack as proved today, on the Errigal Glen game for me a great game to watch Errigal the better team in first half and Glen really strong in the second , neither Kilcoo or Glen will look past Enniskillen or Cargin , 2 semis i looking forward to

Another entertaining televised game from Ulster. Frantic finish in which there might have been another 3/4 goals. Winner of Ulster be hard to beat although Commercials looked very good last night and be favourites I imagine now to win Munster.

Glen definitely stepped up in the second half, Errigal kicked a couple of long distance wides , Ruairi Canavan scored some great points but an off day by his high standards, though the first goal for Glen was a foul, didn't know you could shoulder keeper in the square. Glen favourites for me now.

Without doubt Glen first goal was a foul on the keeper, , yea you could be right Glen are a very serious outfit and if Errigal could get a big target man to take a bit of pressure of the Canavans they too could move into that bracket, Idid say the team that beats Kilcoo would win Ulster and ill stick with that, and it might well be Glen

Good pub / bar in Belfast?

Hello people,

I figure this is a good board to ask for recommendations for a night out in Belfast.
Myself and another buck (late 30s/early 40s) heading to a gig in Ulster hall in Dec Fri 16th.
We are staying out in west Belfast (andersonstown)
Anywhere in or around these places that's got good Guinness and a bit of life around it ?

And if there is still a bit left in the tank, is there a good night club or preferably a late bar with some guitar tunes?

Míle buíochas

Anywhere in and around the Cathedral Quarter, loads of pubs and walking distance from the Ulster hall. The harp Bar, The Duke of York, The Dirty Onion are all great around there. Elsewhere in town Whites is excellent as is Kelly's Cellers.

It's the World Cup so why wouldn't they show it

It's the All-Ireland club championship so why shouldn't they show it. TG4 all the way.

Excellent preformance from Kilcoo tonight, the speed of this team and there tackling blew The Gaels away.
They look a better team this year and will take some stopping.

I hope you're being facetious. It's the World Cup.

I wouldn't go out in Belfast if I was you.

RTE only have the rights to a certain amount of club games. And a global event like the World Cup would obviously be shown.

Kilcoo are unreal looking like the best team in ther Country
Unless some one can find a way of slowing them down
The speed at which they move the ball from defence to attack is awesome
Then you have a huge factor which is the family connection there
The Johnsons and the Brannigans are first cousins i believe
They make up nearly half the team a major bonus
