now now that is not very sporting

Remember ye also have your strong hurling team and this is a special result for lowly Leitrim with a tiny population and very scare resources.

Glen was excellent again. He's really stepped up this year. Added a bit of hardness and covers some ground for a big man. Definitely one of the players of the year so far. Thought Paudie Hughes had a bit of an off day along with Dylan Furlong, but both are excellent footballers. MOTM was probably Porter looking back on it now. It's some team with great size and energy in every line.

Apart from the Laois game and robbed by Leitrim it was a progressive league. I suppose it's no concelation to the players but I think beat Carlow hopefully give Louth a good rattle and then see what the tailteann cup brings us.

Congrats to Ben brosnan on his 175 appearances unbelievable dedication"
For sure. An amazing achievement. Probably a record that won't be broken anytime soon.

You should be more worried about how you'll get on in your next game... we'll get on the finest win lose or draw.

You could be right, but as stated by one of your own no need to be salty.
It was an unusual decision that cost you agaisnt us but not necessarily a wrong one, holding a player off the ball is a foul, most refs just do not spot it or do not bother to call it if noone falls or an argument follows.. but it was called on that occasion, unfortunate but that is sport.
I wish you the best in Leinster and tailteann cup campaign

Hopefully we will give Carlow a good game. And if we beat them hopefully the lads can raise their game against Louth. Really hope we can give the TC a good go like last year also.

Unbelievable innings put in by Ben and a brilliant example to young players.

There's 4 or 5 players in the starting team yesterday who have brought there game on massively in the last 12 months.

Agree that it's a great achievement but his transfer still leaves a sour taste for most people.....

He's still living in the same house now in fairness to him. I think at the time he wanted to stay playing in the Wexford club championship, hence the transfer to Castletown.

In fairness his transfer to Castletown never should have happened as his only link to the parish as far as I know was living 20 mins away from it, I think Bannow not objecting helped him alot, none of that takes away from the fact he's been a brilliant servant to Wexford for 15 years at this stage.

Maybe it's time to scrap this "parish" nonsense. It's being abused all over.

It's not really. It's a great rule to keep the GAA true to its roots.

All u17&20 games in Leinster in both codes being streamed on Clubber by the looks of things, interesting looking at the 2 teams named in those age groups for tonight and tomorrow 17 of the 30 starting players from Kilanerin, Castletown and Gorey.

Yes, it's a great rule & Should keep the GAA true to its roots, but it is being abused ( and ignored) countywide.
