After the year we've had, I have to say so many teams are on a par, can't really say one is better than another. For Limerick, the games v Waterford, Clare, Galway & Kilkenny were all a goal or less in terms of margin. Each side put up a tremendous battle and all did something different to make the games so competitive.

I've always liked Leinster hurling. Maybe it is because Leinster has traditionally had more entrants in their province, or smaller things like how for what seemed like ages in the 1980's Wexford players had no hoops/bands on their hurleys/hurls. League games against the Leinster sides were always competitive and interesting because we didn't get much of a chance to play those sides in championship.

Comparisons and contrasts are inevitable. Perhaps it seems more prestigious to win Munster but when you see the provincial celebrations of Wexford fans in 1996 and 2019, Dublin 2013, it is just the same feeling as us winning Munster in 2013. It offers success starved counties a chance of glory. Perhaps best to stop looking at bias towards one or the other and realise that there are 4 major trophies to win each season (AIF, MF, LF, NHLF) and each is a little nugget in its own right.

For sure. Any time we last won any of those it made me very happy. Well except for the League on account of me being only 2 at the time!!!

I'd agree with that totally and the order you put them in.

1.All Ireland
2. Munster Championship
3. National League
4. Leinster Championship

All 4 are good competitions. No point in arguing when it's obvious they are all unique.

I would say
1. All Ireland
2. Provincial Championships
3. National League

No point saying Munster Championships are better than Leinster Championships, you are arguing a pointless argument.

Why would you have Leinster on your list at all when you can't win it however good your team is?
