Once they voted against the government on a consistent basis. Which they aren't going to do, being as they were part of the team who drew up the programme for government.
They aren't going to vote against the government on a consistent basis after doing a deal to be in government, so they aren't the Opposition. So they shouldn't have Opposition speaking time. Amazing you still haven't got this yet... .

You just don't get it…either that or you're very slow…these 2 were part of the group setting up the programme for government so can't sit on the opposition benches taking up speaking time… Ff/FG though they were being smart but all they did was make a fool of themselves and got caught out by SF and the rest of the opposition

Because in the same official document are policies that FF insisted must be in the programme for government in order for the C&S agreement to hold!

They're claiming they are not "party to the programme" (a political move so they can distance themselves from unfulfilled promises) yet they're insisting on its very content in order to support it.

If any of those other independents choose to leave as well then they will be entitled to opposition speaking time also. Because they won't be in the government any more either. What's so difficult to understand about any of this?!!

There, I translated it for you.

The Ceann Camhairle even stated last week that the legal advice she received stated that a precedent to last week's issue existed in the form of the confidence and supply agreement of 2016.

She doesn't state where the legl advice came from, but my assumption would be that it was the Attorney General.

But maybe he thinks black is white too. .
