I think most county schemes do include an option on final tickets. To be taken from the overall allocation to the counties involved. I remember when I was still involved with teams and there'd be hundreds in club waiting for tickets for Dublin games - early 2000s I'm talking about - and the players who'd been playing or training that evening would be waiting on pot luck while a lot of oul fellas who played back in the day got first dibs. I promised myself never to be that oul fella! BarneyGrant (Dublin) - Posts: 3464 - 23/01/2022 14:10:44 2396052 Link 0 |
I know what you mean, and in fairness a lot of those old fellas would have given a lot to the club as well but it's great if you can get a ticket on your own steam, it's also nice knowing that the ticket is on the bag when you win a semifinal knowing you don't have to go on the hunt.

No, I'm not getting at the former players, They did feel awkward about it so the county pass in counties that have them is great way for people to get tickets and to put their money into the games as well. People give out about the ticketing schemes but they do go to genuine supporters as the ones who try to get one for a final after not bothering their bottom going to any other games are not going to buy a season ticket or a county pass. Much fairer system now and in Dublin between that and the clubs allocation it has gotten rid of 99.9% of the messers who were there up to 2010. 100%, we all know lads who'll only rock up for a final and that's fair enough as nowadays because of these ticket schemes as you say there is no reason for genuine fans not to get sorted now. I've known lads here in Kerry that would go to all the Kerry games but miss out on the final and youd have felt real bad for them. Can anyone else not buy a season ticket? Tried to buy one today and it won't load one up for me. Surely they haven't pulled them from sale the week before the first round? Loughduff Lad (Cavan) - Posts: 2466 - 24/01/2022 11:10:20 2396173 Link 0 |

Can't seem to download match tickets yet myself Samsforthehills (Donegal) - Posts: 1075 - 24/01/2022 11:54:12 2396183 Link 0 |
managed to buy, but haven't even tried to download them. Pity it's not the credit card again that can be just put in your wallet and scan as needed. I was unable to get a Club+ ticket. Cavan for some reason are the only county that opts out of it meaning it can't be purchased. Think it's terrible that they do this as it's great value and doesn't make sense that they're the only county to opt out of it Loughduff Lad (Cavan) - Posts: 2466 - 24/01/2022 14:01:48 2396218 Link 0 |

Unrelated I suppose but is streaming league games like last year now confined to the history books? Surely there would still be a demand for it? It may not pay for itself like last year but with crowds in the gate would still be in a better position money wise. Sligoman1234 (Sligo) - Posts: 493 - 25/01/2022 09:16:27 2396306 Link 0 |
Try using microsoft edge rather than google chrome, if using your phone.

There's been screening for Walsh Cup and i think some other games so I'd imagine it's an area that will keep going. Great idea. Some of the camera work can be a bit sketchy but seems to be catching on and there is obviously a demand. I remember last year, Offaly gave great coverage of their under 20 footballers. DubsTV deserve a shout for county club too. Beo did the Dublin/Offaly Walsh game. BarneyGrant (Dublin) - Posts: 3464 - 25/01/2022 11:20:50 2396335 Link 0 |
I printed my parents (they dont have smart phones) - i see it says general admission but there is a row number and seat number. I presume you go to your given seat? or can you go to the terrace/behind the goals? The_Fridge (Tyrone) - Posts: 2093 - 25/01/2022 12:13:43 2396343 Link 0 |
tickets probably have ticket seat to have a max number of tickets sold, stop duplicates being made and up to stewards, event managers to decide if they can go to terrace on the day of game

I have the same issue. Signed up for a season ticket today, but am seeing the 'your ticket is not available to be managed' message. Maybe there's a wait period before things get activated?

I may be wrong but looks like most tickets will not come on sale until Wednesday evening? Think they are giving people with county and season tickets a few day's grace to renew which is fair enough. BarneyGrant (Dublin) - Posts: 3464 - 25/01/2022 16:40:00 2396434 Link 0 |
I got an Email today to confirm that I can access my match tickets maybe you will be able to do so tomorrow.
