Replying To monaghanmad:  "On what basis are they are better side than Derry and Mayo? Yes they beat Mayo in a game that wasn't knockout and then fluffed at home V a poor Tyrone side. They are a middle of the road outfit who do a lot of talking about how good they are. We have all seen this from Roscommon before, talk the talk and then fall the fall.

Past players out the in the media talking about how they should be all Ireland semi finalists, I am hearing this for years now and they same men continue to fluff it, what has changed really?

Be under no illusion, if we take them down the stretch they will revert to what they always have been. Its a matter of getting them down the stretch."
Good win against a hyped and poor Roscommon team. I wouldn't read much into it other than we didn't give away any goals or goal scoring chances which was a great sign.

Westmeath is a good draw and they will provide a stern test and their midfield will be far stronger than Roscommon's Saturday.

Replying To MrPBoylan:  "We'll be very lucky to make a final. Beat Westmeath, then hope for Louth (bad record against Cork, Galway are good, Tyrone would be tricky) and then you are looking at avoiding Kerry and hoping for Meath or Mayo."
No doubt will need a lot of luck, but honestly looking at this championship and the way it's gone, my opinion has definitely changed. If you had asked me at the start of championship would we find ourselves in the situation we are in, showing the performances we have shown, I would have said no way. I honestly expected our season to go like maybe Cavan's went. Given the teams left and potential teams that will go out next weekend, like 2 of possibly the 4 favourites, I'm like ya why not? A lot of luck needed, but I really feel anyone can beat anyone. It's prob the most wide open in years. Any team that wins it will need luck on their side.

What is the latest on the injury situation (bar young McCaul which we know about)?

Louis Kelly had an achilles problem, but come the Westmeath game that will be 6 weeks since the injury. Is it a longer term recuperation?
Michael Hamill - G Bannigan had previously said Hamill could be back for the All ireland series, but it's hard to imagine him having match fitness unless he gets game time with Emyvale in the interim.
Gary Mohan - Looked very sluggish against Armagh and has struggled with injuries all year. What's the latest?
