Predicting a comfortable victory for Carrick today. They should win the Ulser Intermediate Club Championship this year. HB245 (Monaghan) - Posts: 267 - 11/10/2025 13:13:52 2639308 Link 0 |
Like the last time the Moy schooled them in Ulster…. Where's all the Blayney men? Will Johnny Logan be on repeat? veterngaa (Monaghan) - Posts: 850 - 11/10/2025 17:32:17 2639339 Link 0 |
Killanny Wanted that far more than us today. A very impressive performance and credit where it's due, hope they go on to win it now.

Schooled them? Moy beat them by a point (a last minute free from Sean Cavanagh), and Carrick should have won comfortably that day. Moy went on to win the All Ireland that year. They would get it tight against Eglish/Clonoe (whichever one comes out of Tyrone, I'd be guessing Eglish) but I'd fancy Carrick to win it out. Serious team there. As for the Castleblayney boys, hopefully they'll spend the winter honing their skills on the field rather than on this hoganstand forum. Might suit them better. Impressive from killanny today. Have to definitely see themselves as favourites. I believe 4-14 today which is excellent shooting. They will think they can break Carrick down and go all the way. Definitely the favorites in my eyes on paper. Hard luck to blayney today. Malone some operator. Donaghmoyne never got going, maybe they weren't allowed. And that man is manager of the U20 team next year? Embarrassing result, championship is where you're judged farneygael3 (Monaghan) - Posts: 412 - 11/10/2025 20:10:52 2639367 Link 0 |
Hardly an embarrassing result losing to the favourites? A lot of quiet delusional Blayney folk in here now. eirekeeper (Monaghan) - Posts: 128 - 11/10/2025 21:26:01 2639383 Link 1 |
On to the big boy stuff tomorrow. HB245 (Monaghan) - Posts: 267 - 11/10/2025 21:59:54 2639390 Link 0 |
Some fire power from garland and McDonald's, Robert berg wrapped garland up and Liam McDonald couldn't touch dean Connolly.

You are delusional! They have a county final to win first … And who ever comes from Tyrone will hammer them veterngaa (Monaghan) - Posts: 850 - 12/10/2025 07:51:17 2639418 Link 0 |
I have no doubt Blayney will go on and win the league now. Robbie and Benny will be back in a few weeks and we will be primed for action. The goal is promotion and like I've said all year Carrick will do the double. Was totally unexpected for them not to top group and had expected a Blayney v donaghmoyne semi updafaughs (Monaghan) - Posts: 149 - 12/10/2025 08:33:24 2639419 Link 0 |
Yes a sobering day for the faughs and a footballing lesson handed out to some of their young guns. Carrick took complete control mid way through the opening half and won pulling up. Other semi final also very one sided , donaghmoyne win over carrick masked a very poor season by them and killanny proved that yesterday, winning comfortably. Carrick have a chance to bury the demons from 23 now. 222 (UK) - Posts: 878 - 12/10/2025 08:44:44 2639420 Link 0 |

Scotstown could possibly be in two championship finals…missing lads in both. Fergal Sherlock was a huge miss going off last week for the juniors alongside the lads missing for the seniors monaghan1993 (Monaghan) - Posts: 2 - 12/10/2025 19:50:37 2639554 Link 0 |
Well done inniskeen be good to see them win it. Scotstown predictable enough win. Beggan his usual clinical self and Kieran Hughes still best player in the county. Special mention for Conor Boyle who thought was superb big loss to county. seanie08 (Monaghan) - Posts: 1916 - 12/10/2025 19:53:28 2639555 Link 0 |
