Replying To Ulsterman12:  "Tyholland still in with a shot and would have no fear of the harps goes to head to head rather than score difference I believe"
Killanny (+8), Clones (0), Monaghan Harps (-3) are all on 3 points and Tyholland are on 1 point (-17)

Games are:
Killanny v Clones
Tyholland v Monaghan Harps

Tyholland even if they win would need Killanny or Clones too lose big and they would have to win by 17 point plus the difference to Killanny or Clones to finish third.

Two teams its head-to-head but if three its score difference. So Tyholland are all but gone but they can spoil Harps and the other game is huge.

In fairness Blayney has produced juvenile teams that would be adequate for senior football. Some great young players within the club but I think if they went up this year, They'd go right back down

Have they not dominated at minor level over the years?

Killanny Clones should be a battle , teams with recent rivalry in the past , all to play for to finish second Clones to remain unbeaten in the championship if they get over the line have good players all around with the 3 Freemans

We seem to have awful luck with lads heading off, injuries and yes there's some issues with retention. Still a great team brewing and our minors are flying, serious crop there and a lot of commitment there so in a few years you could be eating them words

Blayney have won 8 minor titles in 6 years between league and championship I don't think donaghmoyne were anywhere near that level of success

So very true. Probably the most disappointing turn around of players from those great minor teams.
Expected a bright future for those lads and them to compete well in senior but it hasn't came yet. Not sure if it will.

Would love to know how many quit/still playing from the winning teams.

I think you'll find Scotstown won the Minor League and Championship in 2024 unless you count winning a Shield as a League title so maybe get your facts right before you go spouting on here.

Scotstown won the minor championship last year. Double with the seniors.
