Replying To latefortraining:  "Oram have Big turn over in players from last year. Especially in attack Paugie Graham, Ryan Mcguinness and Jason McDonald. After a great run in the group the whole thing implowded in the aghabog game. Sending off and poor discipline.
Out of all the junior teams with the exception of emyvale. Their under age set up is in good health. They will contest their 3rd minor final in two years this weekend. Their u16 have been competitive, their u14 have contested div 2 and 3 finals. I see they have fielded a second team at u14 this year and their u12s are also competitive. All fielding on their own no amalgamation. They had a county u20 in mccooey, lynch on the minors and couple on the u15 development team. It will be 4 or 5 years before they become competitive at adult level again. And by competitive I mean getting in top 4 and contesting semi finals. They are along way off from winning anything"
Can agree with them doing well in juvenile teams but they are in very low divisions. Good to see a small club like them having individual teams though. Cant really see the spice boys of junior doing too much for a while I agree.

Oram minors and u16s are playing div 4 football, their u14s are div 3 and their u12s are amalgamated with blackhill and struggling in div 3…don't know about good health but like a lot of smaller clubs it's a struggle to keep the ship afloat so I tip my hat to the likes of Oram…

Emyvale by 11 is very ambitious! Drew and one by a point being recent results against Scotstowns 3rd team . Emyvale are v average this year and definitely haven't sailed through Junior .

Massive loss for Monaghan and Aughnamullen with Bobby McCaul signing a contract with geelong cats, a sad day for the Monaghan football family but a happy one for the mccaul family.

Hardly... surely more to AFL then high catches, I'd be having a look at my scouts

Cremartin a good example of a club who have played lower divisions at underage and are doing quite nicely thank you at adult level. A lot of time numbers dictate.

If they had Mohan and Kelly they'd have a serious chance.

No doubt about it but Paul O'Connor would be the correct man for the job. Knows the group of players and also the opposition.
Paul would have the long term best interests on Monaghan football at heart.
Hopefully the County board get behind Paul and his development with this group pf players continues.

Agreed Cremartin have done really well in the lower divisions with the likes of the Mooneys and Eccles.
Great to see Barry Kerr back playing for Cremartin after an extended absence also. Will be a big asset to Cremartin in there fight to retain senior status for 2026.

Was a committee set up to head hunt candidates as I didn't see the vacancy mentioned on the monaghan gaa website?
