QF
Caulry VS Loughnavalley
Garrycastle VS Shamrocks

Both Delvin and Ballinagore into semi finals.

Ballinagore to walk it.

Does Geoghan have a son on the team ? Is that rule that county minor manager cant have a son gone or still in was just my first thought. Fair play to him bet some stiff competition from John Murray who was selector with Brigids last year and Mick dillon who was with the county set up, however managing this team is really Managing and the coaches are there to coach be interested to see who he has as its exciting team with U15/ and 16s being fairly competitive.

crucial win Bruno, the Baker Mc Cormack Malynn axis is as good whats there after Lomans.
Really impressed in Malynn, hes surely worth a look for next manager.
Caulry will beat Kinnegad this year I reckon & none will want to play Caulry in quarter final.

No he doesn't have a son on the team anymore, he might have in previous years but that son doesn't play football anymore.

One win in their fourth match and suddenly they have a potent forward division and are the team to be avoided in quarter final. Surely bit of perspective needed, they're still in joint last place in table after four rounds and relegation to section B more of a concern for their supporters. If they beat Kinnegad then they've proven something. Malynn is a young prospect but a long way off county set up, he's just establishing himself in the Caulry side. Senan Baker was back to his best yesterday, winning frees, scoring and McCormack was also very influential.

Fair play to the county board for having this continuity plan in place for the minors - makes sense instead of parachuting someone in. Anyone know who Dickie has along with him ?

It's all about winning at this stage and yes Caulry are bottom of group but they will fancy taking Kinnegad out next and then it's on to the knock out stages . Players like Moran,Hickey already home and Maguire back from hoilday the mood most definitely has changed. I see them winning and a real threat in the knock out stages.

County board have confirmed that they are looking for new U20 managers in hurling and football as both managers have stepped away

Even if they beat Kinnegad, they won't beat Shamrocks or The Downs

A bit of perspective, Caulry were missing there leader Kevin Maguire for first two rounds and Ben Moran too dont forget.
Lets be real Caulry were never going to get a result v Lomans but there return against the champions had the desired effect as they played very well.
What Im saying is there a different team with Maguire in it
Malynn has been playing senior 3 or 4 years, hes coming of age now.
Your right about Senan appears to be back to his best, Mc Cormack injury free is one of the best forwards in the county too
The cards could be falling into place for Caulry, I called them to beat Tang by 8 and Im calling them to do a job on Kinnegad by 3.
Kinnegad look like a tired team that cant wait for this championship to be over and the bottom line is Kinnegad cant score.
Will these last matches be on next Saturday??

Caulry will be a match for Shamrocks or Downs, I definitely think they will beat Kinnegad on current form

Caulry people would do well to learn from last year and only look at the hurdle ahead of them rather than the County Final.

When will Fixtures be out ? If all games on at the same time for fairness, games will be spread out. This will definitely suit tang outside Cusack and even Caulry as Kinnegad never perform to their best outside of the park.

Would the manager be looking for a new waterboy ? Caulry beat a very poor Tang team wheres all this nonsense talk coming from.

Why should he share? He's not posting here claims about Coralstown Kinnegad's likelihood to at least reach the semi final despite their championship record this year being slightly better than Caulry's. A number of posters have pointed out that you seem to be getting ahead of yourself, beat Kinnegad on weekend after next and then post with confidence

Any word on manager? You'd imagine that the plan is that they will look to appoint someone from within the county as the next manager. Appointing an outsider who likely wont get a chance to see barely any club championship live wouldn't bode well. Particularly in a year where we are going to be in transition. I'd like to see Keane given a chance and maybe promote Gavin from the 21's to work alongside him.
