True enough.Naming teams and panels dont mean anything anymore really cos theres always changes.Win this game and we will top group but its a free shot really. Im not too confident on this one but its does nt really matter in the long run once we qualify.

Armagh could give the dubs a bit of a tanking today. kerry4sam25 (Kerry) - Posts: 13 - 01/06/2025 11:35:19 2613949 Link 0 |
You hope you mean. Why not just say what you're hoping for?

The Dubs are kicking themselves out of the game. 60 minutes gone and they could have brought it to 2 about 10 mins ago. Not sure what to make of Armagh to be honest.

First match in Croke Park this year. Seemed to choke on big day.

Wow, we don't know how to play the new rules do we? As ridiculous as they are. realdub (Dublin) - Posts: 8764 - 01/06/2025 17:56:45 2614076 Link 0 |
Nothing to do with the new rules Realdub.. you just don't have very good forwards.. the amount of wides from straight in front of the goals was ridiculous.. new rules had nothing to do with that.. Armagh had just 1 wide from similar positions.. Dublin started taking on those ridiculous 2 pointers and it cost them dearly… If that rule didn't exist ( and I hate it ) Dublin might have won… All down to the Derry game now

Was like we were playing for 1st time under new rules. 3 points handed to Armagh for the 3 back rule and a 37% return rate on scoring attempts! Dublin should have won that game comfortably As you say lots to work on and if they can correct them, and with Con back, all is not lost! I know we're not as good up front anymore, especially without O'Callaghan. But we handed the ball to them on 3 occasions for a handy score. That should not be happening. I'm not saying it's the reason we lost, Armagh deserved it for being more ruthless. realdub (Dublin) - Posts: 8764 - 01/06/2025 19:18:44 2614107 Link 0 |
Armagh defo need to give the Dubs a thanking after handing the victory to them on a plate!

Went 6 to 3 up with some great point taking and playing with great intensity and ok had missed a couple but from there on it it was disastrous. Costello despite everything he did right was also guilty of some terrible shooting, need Con back big time.

Unlucky today. I thought both teams were poor, we could have had a couple of goals and you missed some really straight forward points. Some of the hail mary 2 pointer attempts in the 2nd half were very poor, a little composure and work the ball in closer for points and you probably would have won. sam2024 (Armagh) - Posts: 58 - 01/06/2025 21:13:48 2614154 Link 1 |
Yeh ye are way better than that I would agree. You're through now and it'll be a good team that beats ye. realdub (Dublin) - Posts: 8764 - 01/06/2025 22:40:20 2614182 Link 0 |
How are new rules ridiculous?

That was dreadful. Bad kicking turned a comfortable win into defeat. BarneyGrant (Dublin) - Posts: 3573 - 02/06/2025 01:05:46 2614200 Link 1 |
