Was a tight game the weekend, Leitrim will be kicking themselves for letting London off the hook, but all credit to London for grinding out the win.
Both the Butlers now gone from the panel, Killian left the panel last week for the states.

Very positive league campaign from the county side. Only one real hammering and di well to stay with a lot of teams in the games they lost. Can they rattle Leitrim at home?

Club games returned yesterday and disappointing to see some walkovers. They should have copied last years format and started with the league in May. What's everyone's predictions for the year ahead. Senior probably wide open as it's been in a while. Fulham and Kiernans probably slightly ahead of the rest but TCG, NLS, Towers and KKG will probably fancy their chances. I'd give Fulham the nod though. Hard to see past St Joes for relegation.

Inter is always hard to call especially now as the standard seems to yoyo. Brendans will be favourites with Harlseden as dark horses. What will Neasden be like? Cuchulainns and Eire Og probably fight it out for relegation, Parnells possibly be in that bracket also.

Junior will also be wide open but I think Dulwich will come straight back up with possibly Taras to challenge.

Very early to make any sort of predictions apart from maybe looking at who has left and joined up with clubs. From looking at the transfer website, there doesnt appear to be much to suggest anything definitive. I would guess many of the clubs who played the weekend are not even back out training yet, so not the greatest surprise to see walkovers, although that doesnt condone them either.

Based on last season, most of the divisions would be pretty wide open again. Some clubs are more active in the transfer market, but as we've often seen, that doesnt always have the intended benefit vs more settled teams.

The football doesnt normally pick up until after easter. Its like the mental block on training disappears after the easter weekend. Having the London game on easter sunday will kickstart the interest for the season ahead.

Jamie Clarke played for Neasden at the weekend, but the game turned out to be a challenge match as Neasden didn't have enough players to make the 15. Anyone know if Neasden are going to splash the cash for a new all-star team this year?

Div 2 will be competitive and too hard to call. As for champs it is to early to have any meaningful predictions.

Senior: St Kiernans or Fulham (would probably say the latter but purely guesswork)

Intermediate: Brendan's or Harlesden

Not sure what's been going with Parnells the last couple of years? Feel they've struggled somewhat

Junior: Dulwich or Wandsworth

Anyone know what happened to Moindearg? Have they folded? Not seen them since before covid.

I'm guessing Moindearg have been gone since 2018, but it could be a year or two earlier than that. A good long established club in London over many decades, but unfortunately modern times caught up with them in the sense of relying on bringing a group of lads over and working the tools only for a year or a summer, followed by a new gang the following season. It just wasn't going to sustain them in the long run.

Any word on many of the pre season games the last two weeks lads? They might be better off leaving things off until after Easter. I see a lot of walkovers were given last week. I caught most of Eire Og v Harlesden yesterday in Greenford. Decent game with Harlesden pulling away in the last 15 or so. Neither team will do much this year though. The game was unfortunately marred by an incident in the last few minutes. I won't get into details but an Eire Og player was left with what might be a broken jaw after being punched. Harps player could face a lengthy ban Im assuming?
