Congrats to the Tones on beating their neighbours the Nicks by double scores. South Drawda is officially blue and yellow now.

All the big teams are been kept apart. You would fancy the Blues, Marys, Jocks and Mochs. If these four teams win does it mean that Blues and Marys and Jocks and Mochs will be kept apart in the semi final draw because they already played each other?

In the relegation play offs it's the Feckins v Cooley. And the Brides v the Gers.

Dundalk Gaels & Dowdallshill seniors amalgamation. A strange one when you consider their locations in Dundalk

From the top of the Dublin road straight through to the ballymac roundabout seems a pretty straight line to me

Would Sean O Mahoneys or the Clans not be closer clubs to Dowdallshill than the Gail's?

Don't see the clans merging with anyone. Surely the o'mahoneys, young islanders or na pairsigh would be an easier fit. I imagine it's more about compatibility than location. Given how weak all the Dundalk teams are mergers will happen eventually. The more children we get involved in the gaa the better imo. That's what it should be all about at the end of the day. It would be a sin to let the history of dowdalshill to be extinguished going forward. Hopefully their existence can be guaranteed in some form. Wishing them all the best

Wonder will the attendances be down for the club championship. The product being provided is now very unattractive. The players are trained to robot status but for entertainment and excitement the football gaa product. The gaa as a whole must address the negative tactics which is killing the game. I don't know how it's resolved but major surgery is required

Seniors ? Once upon a time.
What would the late Ownie Rogers RIP say to suggested amalgamation?
Come on the Dowdallers and keep going with your great facilities.
There was two clubs in the area once. The Fort Rangers with Jamie Coogan, Ollie O' Neill, the Lynchs, etc. Played their home games in Pat's field in Ravensdale.
Don't let it go to none. One dead centre in area is enough.

Such nonsense. voting to keep that area dormant. I'm sure they are proud to see lads and lassies from the area playing for Roche soms islanders clans & Gaels. Spoke to a younger dowdallshill man and he said the club is devastated.. this isn't the field of dreams. Build it and they will come. An area has to be worked and 85 year olds with all the will in the world can't do so. As for the fort rangers I'd say they are called the pats now.
