Are there many travelling over for the match? It's Louths first match with Mayo since they beat us in the league in 1997. The only other Championship match with Mayo was the 1950 All Ireland Football Final. Hopefully Louth are not wearing them black jerseys.

Decided not to travel, bank holiday weekend, glad of the rest, long spin over and back , will watch it on the telly.

Those black jerseys are a disgrace and should not be be worn by any Louth team.
Louth home = Red
Louth away= White

Playing a "home " game in Navan last week V Cork, us in a black kit and cork in their change away colours.

Nothing stopping Louth wearing red and cork wearing white.

Totally agree with your point re Black Jersey. Don't want to see them again.
Not going to this one, as a bit too far for a 2 pm throw-in. Not much consideration for traveling supporters. At least the Kerry game is a spin down the N7 to either Thurles or Portlaoise. I cannot see many going to this, especially after the Cork game. Best of luck to the lads on Sunday.

Joe there is a rumour going around the Bull that the Louth and Kerry match will be played in Croke Park as part of a double header with Galway and Armagh. Fingers crossed that this will happen.

I like the black Jersey, who cares anyway, we are playing the mighty Mayo in McHale Park. Is this the first time ever in championship,? Reckon so.

The only other time that Mayo and Louth played each other in the Championship was in the 1950 All Ireland final. The Mayo men won that one.

Safe travelling to all Louth followers making the trip and hope ye have a memorable visit to Mayo (apart from the result of course). Plenty of good watering holes in Castlebar and Westport for those staying over.

Louth were desperately unlucky there. They could and should have won that game. They had several goal chances and were denied a blatant penalty in the second half. Mayo were very poor.

Was willing ye on lads, if you had have goaled 10 mins earlier when goal was on I think ye would have done it. Kerry best beware.

We were blessed. Definitely a penalty for me. Cavanagh and Sunday Game's clickbait moment rewriting the rules of Gaelic football.

Big one this weekend lads, don't ever remember us playing the mighty Kerry in my lifetime. Hope a good Louth crowd arrive to this neutral venue. Its do or die for both teams, a proper knockout. If we play like we did against Mayo we have a chance. Win by 3 should do it. And a favour from Mayo. Goals would help. All the pressure is on Kerry to perform. UP the Wee County.

I give ye every chance. I don't rate this Kerry team at all this year. Top 4 and could win it but I wouldn't put money on it. Mickey Harte knows how to push Kerrys buttons out of all the managers in the competition.

We don't need Mayo to do us a favour? Beat Kerry and wee will be through regardless of the Mayo and Cork match.

Take the Clifford's out of Kerry and they look ordinary. But they are not the All Ireland Champions for no reason. Kerry, Dublin, Galway, Mayo and Derry. Take your pick for the All Ireland.

Great news regarding a start date and contractor secured for the new stadium in Dundalk. A great time for Louth GAA.

Getting bet by 28 points is a very poor return from a county supposed to be on the up. Keey were in 3rd gear yesterday and we made them look very good, the one that got away was the Mayo game, we should have beaten Mayo and this was highlighted by an average cork team beating them. We didn't deserve to beat Cork in Navan, but again we could have with a bit more guile. Overall a good season but I think the bar has to be raised in 2024.

If truth be told Kerry could of scored about 10 goals against Louth if they really wanted to.

Kerry made Sam Mulroy look like a Junior B Footballer.

Look what Dublin done to Sligo.

The gap is too big at the top.
